Green Smoothie Bowl

INGREDIENTS

1/2 Banana, sliced and frozen
1/4 Cucumber
1 cup loosely packed spinach, frozen
1 cup loosely packed kale
1 Lemon, juiced
1 cup Water
1 Tbsp almond butter, heaping
1 scoop/serving protein powder/collagen powder


TOPPINGS
1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
1 Tbsp Coconut flakes
1/4 cup Granola – see my granola recipe here
1 Tbsp Pumpkin Seeds

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Add the banana, cucumber, spinach, kale, lemon juice, water, almond butter, and protein powder/collagen powder to your blender. Blend until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and stir. If you prefer a thicker smoothie bowl, wait 20 minutes before eating to let the chia seeds expand and absorb some of the water. This is one of my favorite post-workout meals! Enjoy!
