1/2 cup steel cut outs
3 cups water
1 banana, sliced into half inch chunks
1 Tbsp almond butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp crushed pecans
1 Tbsp chia seeds
Bring 3 cups of water to boil. Add 0.5 cups of oats and reduce heat to simmer for 15-20 minutes. When the oats have 5 minutes left to cook add the banana in half inch slices and stir (this way the banana acts as a natural sweetener).
Once the oats have finished cooking add the rest of the ingredients and stir.
